Location
The first Holland Open Software Conference will be held at the premises of the University of Amsterdam, right in the heart of the old city. Keynotes will be held at the Aula of the university, which is located in a beautiful authentic churc, all other sessions will be held at the "Oudemanhuispoort". This is located on walking distance from the Aula, and famous for it's unique atmosphere.

Conference
The HOSC is a non-commercial initiative. The program committee decides on all presentations. There are no sponsored tracks. However, there is an "after conference" where many speakers and sponsors are permitted to give any additional information on their solutions.

Description of the (super) gold sponsorship
The (super) sponsorship entitles to the following advantages:

- Name and logo on the conference bag.
- Program book: name and logo on the front (other sponsors on the back).
- Number of free tickets: 5 (other sponsors 2).
- 10 low priced tickets (€ 85,-).
- Special Lunch table with your name.
- Super gold (just 1 option): key chain with logo/name. However, this sponsor is also responsible for delivering the key-chains and producing the name plates!
All sponsors
- Information market. All sponsors are allowed to build up a stand on the information market and distribute (politely) brochures and marketing materials (Monday-Wednesday). Location: Oudemanhuispoort.
- Name, logo and url mentioned on our website (different area's).
- Logo, name on leaflet.
- Logo, name on poster.
- Allowed to put your company brochure in the conference bag.
- After conference sessions! See below for more information.
Small company arrangement
Small companies with no more than 3 employees get a 50% reduction on the sponsor fee (only for normal sponsorship).

Cost reduction for regular sponsors
Regular sponsors can get a maximum of 50% reduction, if they subscribe 20 attendees (for the full price € 185,-). For 10 attendees the reduction is 25%. We want to know in advance if you would like to use this option (you'll be billed for 50%); the other 50% will not be billed if you succeed before May 21. You have to give the organization the names of the attendees that subscribed thanks to your efforts.

After Conference details
At the after conference, there is time to get into details with speakers and sponsors. During the conference the attendees can subscribe to the various after conference sessions that are organized by sponsors or speakers representing different projects. Holland Open facilitates this after conference, but there is no interference with the subjects, nor the way they are presented. The organization asks all sponsors and speakers if they will be present at the after conference and offers them the possibility to give a presentation (sponsors) or workshop/debate/tutorial (speakers and sponsors).
If you want to make a reservation for a timeslot, also submit a title, an outline for this presentation or workshop, the name of the speaker(s) and other relevant information. Maximum 1/4 A4. This information will be part of the program book (if delivered before May 1).
For the After Conference there is one large lecture room available (up to 300 persons) for presentations, and there are five smaller lecture rooms available (30 to 80 persons) for special interest meetings.
