This track is an interesting mix of people and topics on the future of the Open World and the organizing patterns at work. Arjan Kamphuis and Valentijn Sessink will elaborate on their view on the future of the Open World, how should the world look and what threads need to be adressed? Gauti por Reynisson and Ívar Helgason will discuss the need for standardisation in the Healthcare Industry and a roadmap on how this can be realised. Dick Bulterman from the CWI will present a paper on convergent media (multi platform) and SMIL. Aart Wijnen will present the “Language of the city” project, which was a daring attempt to capture the notion of people’s experiences with streets, neighbourhoods and squares in towns into a ontology of citizen architecture.
